How to Install Tub Surround & Shower Surround

Tub surround & shower surround is easy to install & maintain, it's functional, and it looks great. Follow these steps to install your new surround & turn your bathroom into a beautifully designed feature of your home!

Preparing Your Bathroom Remodel

Start by prepping your installation area by removing the spout, faucet handles, and any accessories you might have. Cover your bathtub with a drop cloth to prevent any potential damage during installation.

Remove any current tile you already have, to reduce the risk of mold growth, and repair any damage to the walls. 

Once repaired, properly clean the walls, apply the primer, and allow to dry.

Lining Up Your Tub Surround & Shower Surround

Use your tub/shower surround Carton as a template to mark where your showerhead, faucet, handles, & spout will go through. 

Install your Show Pan first if you are installing a shower surround.

Once your template is lined up and marked, cut the wholes in your surround and line up the panels to its destination to ensure you have the holes right.

Installing Your Surround

Following the manufacture's instructions, apply the adhesive and attach your surround to the wall. Let them dry before replacing your accessories.

Finishing Your Tub/ Shower Surround Installing

When your adhesive has dried, you're ready to re-install your faucet handles, spouts, and other accessories.  

Seal all the joints with caulk, let it dry for 24 hours, and your new waterproof Tub or Shower Surround is ready to use!
